A Multicenter Ascending Dose, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of NAP (AL-108) in Chronic Schizophrenia

The study consists of a 12-week multicenter,double blind randomized clinical trial
of two doses of AL-108(5mg and 30mg/day intra-nasal),vs.placebo in the treatment of
cognitive impairment in schizophrenia. Eligible individuals will receive an extensive  diagnostic
evaluation,medication management,transportation to and from research appointments, and compensation for their time.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age 18-55

DSM-IV criteria for schizophrenia or any subtype

Duration of illness equal  to or greater than one year
