Ongoing Research 

“Neurological Decompression”
Peter Kochunov, PhD, Associate Professor; Laura Rowland, PhD, Associate Professor; and Andrea Wijtenburg, PhD, Instructor, Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC), are currently collaborating with Stephen Thom, MD, PhD, Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine. Together, the team has been awarded a two-year $400,000 grant, entitled "Acute MRI Changes in Neurological Decompression."
