The First Episode Clinic is a CARF-accredited, state-licensed outpatient mental health clinic with the mission to intervene in the early stages of mental illness so as to prevent deterioration of functioning and maximize the chances of recovery.

The FEC implements a team approach to prevent hospitalization, reduce symptoms, improve social and occupational functioning, and foster autonomy.
