Welcome

The Outpatient Research Program (ORP) Clinic, part of the University of Maryland, Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC), provides care to approximately 100 people with a diagnosis of Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective disorder. Referrals are accepted for people between the ages of 18 and 45 who have a history of psychosis who are then screened by the Intake Coordinator.  

The ORP Clinic is a CARF-accredited, state-licensed outpatient mental health clinic with the mission to support recovery through a collaborative and person-centered approach to care.  A team approach is used to help persons served manage symptoms and work toward their social and occupational goals, fostering autonomy.
